The Cuban American Psychiatric Association (CAPA)

Invites you to join our membership providing that you are a psychiatrist or a mental health professional and you are either a born or naturalized Cuban, the son or daughter of a Cuban parent or grandparent, or a non Cuban colleague who endorses the values and ideals of the organization as stated in the mission statement found in our Constitutions and Bylaws.

The CAPA is a Non for Profit Florida based Professional Corporation founded in 1995 to promote and defend the interest of independent Cuban Psychiatry to uphold traditional Cuban cultural, moral and civic values in our area of competence, the rights of the mentally ill and the Human Rights of oppressed People anywhere in the World.

Our organization has never collected fees from members and we do not see the need to do so in the foreseeable future. All expenses of the organization are paid through Grants from pharmaceutical Companies, private sponsors and voluntary donations from members. Voluntary fee payments from members are accepted.
